I follow the recommended fee schedule for psychologists in Alberta which is $200 per each 50 minute session (individual or couple). Many insurance policies, including Blue Cross, SunLife or other employee health benefit programs cover the cost (or a portion of the cost) of private psychological services. At the end of each session clients are issued a receipt which they may submit for reimbursement by their employee benefits or insurance company.
Payment is accepted through VISA, MasterCard, cheque or cash.
There is no charge for cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be billed at 50% of the recommended full session rate.I currently direct bill to Blue Cross and Medivue/Veterans Affairs
If the answer is yes...get up out of bed and go do something else! Do something fun, but not too emotionally or physically stimulating. Sleep experts tell us that it is better to get out of your bed, than to 'condition' your bed to become a place where you go to fear sleep.
